Inspiration and Advice

I’m tired

No, I don’t mean I am tired in the sense that I’m sleepy or I need to take a nap ( though I probably need that, too :) ). I am talking about the world we live in today. I am speaking up, because I think it can be awful.

I am tired of people not accepting others for who they are. If someone feels a certain way, it’s no one's right to tell them that it’s wrong to feel that way. I am tired of people not allowing others to love who they want to love -- it’s none of their business. I am tired of all the people who decide to make jokes about any disability, or any mental health issue, because it just isn’t funny. I am tired of people who think its okay to make someone’s happy and beautiful life into a toxic and miserable one.

I am tired of people who think that bullying someone is okay. I am sick of a world where people treat each other with such disrespect. I am sick of living in a world where there is so much hatred and negative energy.
I am tired of people who gossip about everyone, and everything. Stop speaking behind people’s backs. I am tired of not being able to trust -- people always need to talk about someone else’s personal lives, issues or memories. I am sick of a world where people can be as nasty as they want, and it doesn’t seem to matter.

Can’t you see when you are contributing to your own stress and issues by causing drama, and by being that type of person? Don’t be that person.

I want to live in a world where people aren’t judged. I want to live in a world that allows a person to feel, and we accept it, and don’t tell them to feel otherwise. I want to live in a world where people don’t “joke” or make fun of mental health or disabilities. I want to live in a world where people don’t take out their negativity on other people.

I want to live in a world where people talk about themselves and the things they have experienced. I want to live in a world where people get to know other people and don't judge others. I want to live in a world with positive and uplifting people, who make people smile, and try to make life enjoyable and fun.

I would love to live in a world that spreads kindness and positive energy. Let’s start making the world more positive -- by smiling at others. Simple, right?

We all contribute to our world -- how will you choose to impact it?
